While the actual dates change from year to year, most pow wows are held on the same weekend in the same month each year. This is a list of pow wows usually held the second weekend in August. However, before traveling long distances, always check first to make sure these dates are accurate for the year you plan to attend, because some changes, while rare, do occur. Also, occasionally a pow wow is discontinued in subsequent years for various reasons.
